Adrienne and Matthew, Raven Glacier Lodge, Girdwood Alaska

Of the iconic and moving moments seared into our memory—a gondola ride with grandma to dinner at the top of a mountain, a pre-ceremony helicopter tour over the sprawling landscape of Girdwood, the enormous sound of ice groaning and shifting beneath our feet as we navigated an ancient glacier—our favorite has to be the excitement on guests’ faces when our host (who cooked/baked everything by hand) announced that the pies were ready. While Adrienne and Matthew hosted people from around the country, they couldn’t have been more generous or gracious during their time with us or with their friends and family. We’re excited for all the adventure and laughter to come in this next chapter of their lives.
